Our Story

Sharon Murray is the President and Owner of Creekside Statistical Consulting LLC. She holds a PhD in Biostatistics from UNC-Chapel Hill and has over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. She has worked for a large pharmaceutical company, at a small biotech, and for the CRO industry. Most recently, she built and led the Biometrics function at BioCryst (a small biotech). She has experience with New Drug Applications (NDAs) and has worked in a number of therapy areas including rare diseases, respiratory, antiviral, oncology, and ophthalmology.  She works at home in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, beside a creek.

Sharon offers a variety of statistical consulting services for the pharmaceutical industry, including  

• Support as a project statistician
• Input to clinical development plans
• Statistical strategy for Phase 1 to Phase 3 trials, including clinical pharmacology studies
• Authorship or review of statistical analysis plans, clinical study reports, and manuscripts
• Sponsor oversight of CRO work for statistics, statistical programming, and data management
• Support for due diligence
• Strategy and statistical representation for regulatory interactions (FDA, EMA, PMDA, Health Canada)
